Leading private equity firm has a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic EA manager to lead and mentor their EA population.

This role will be a 1 year FTC !

A busy and involved role that would suit someone who has been an EA but has moved into managing people.

The role will consist of:

Resource Management
*Ensure the most efficient use of the teams resource management
*Manage the distribution of the workload
*Mentor and develop the team
*Manage the recruitment process of the team

Performance management
*Work in conjunction with investment execs in the preparation and conducting of the
Team performance reviews, ensuring fairness and consistency across the teams
*Identify training needs and areas for development both on an individual level and
for the whole Team
*Identify and manage under-performance, including obtaining feedback from investment
execs and holding review meetings with those concerned, working closely with HR

Operational Management
*Own weekly Team meetings & agenda - ensuring all parties are kept updated with
consistent messaging
*Oversee, train & mentor recently promoted Office Managers from the international
offices (Munich & New York)
*Ensure the seamless day to day smooth running of the office to resolve any
operational issues
*Work with other key operations teams (IT / Finance / FOH etc) to ensure Team's
delivery supports key business objectives
*In conjunction with HR processes, own management of induction process for all new
recruits
*Manage any necessary specific operations projects at firm level, and liaising with
support departments
*Intranet - keeping content relevant & up to date and manage user access/permissions
across the firm. Build out the platform, training other areas as appropriate
*Build & deliver Year End / Mid Year review process on a bi-annual basis with support
from Head of HR. Fully own all comms, & reporting for the process.
*Own approval and onboarding process for Contractors and Consultants
*Support various other ad hoc HR projects at a firm level as required

Experience
Candidates should ideally come from a boutique finance or professional services environment and must have managed a team of EAs as well as the operational function in the business. Exceptional communication skills required as well as a real enthusiasm for managing, mentoring and developing people.
