Our client a bespoke luxury interiors co based in Chelsea are looking for an experienced Operations Director to join the small team. You will be assisting the owner in the running of this very successful and international business. You will be dealing with some prestigious names within the interiors world and will be helping build up and maintain the brand within the UK.
This is a key role and requires someone with meticulous organisation skills and business knowledge. Whilst the Owner is around he does travel an awful lot so you will be managing the London office and representing the brand here in the UK. He would like someone who feels competent to run the business in his absence. You will be representing the company and will attend meetings with interior design companies and clients. Your job will be to build a good and loyal client network so ideally you will have had experience in sales & marketing. Interior knowledge would be a bonus as well as an interest. The operations side of this role involves preparing orders, invoices as well as all the shipment documentation. You will be liaising with the warehouse and factory to monitor stock taking but also to ensure orders are being processed and the system streamlined.
This role requires someone who can wear many hats but primarily this person needs to be hungry and business savvy.
