We are looking for a Bilingual Scientific Administrator to work on an exciting 6 month interim project within Veterinary Medicines, Surveillance and Regulatory Support.
Your purpose will be to contribute to the production of the Joint Interagency Antimicrobial Consumption and Resistance Analysis (JIACRA) reports.

You will be responsible for:

Producing a report on stratified sales data and preparation of sales data analysis run as part of the ESVAC project on sales of veterinary antimicrobials. This involves:
(i) the preparation and selection of necessary reports using the antimicrobials sales data available in the ESVAC Business Intelligence Database for further analysis and allocation of DDDvet/DCDvet values per antimicrobial ingredients;
(ii) the analysis and preparation of the figures for the report;
(iii) the contribution to the writing the final report.

This is a rare opportunity to use your scientific and analytical skills to contribute to this important work.

Profile:

  • A university degree in veterinary medicine, epidemiology, pharmacy or other life science
  • Experience in writing reports preparing written and verbal communications to a range of stakeholders
  • Knowledge on use of antimicrobials, surveillance on sales of antimicrobials and expertise on analysis of data
  • Experience of these activities in the veterinary domain will be an advantage
  • Knowledge of pharmacology and epidemiology
  • A good command of data management and use of Excel.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to work to demanding deadlines within a complex procedural environment
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with various different stakeholders
  • Fluency in English and at least one other EU language -Spanish, Czech, Danish, German, Estonian, English, French, Italian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Hungarian, Maltese, Dutch, Polish, Portuguese, Slovenian, Slovakian, Finnish, Swedish, Greek, Romanian, Bulgarian, Croatian, Norwegian, Icelandic
