Data Analyst Specialist - £25,000-£28,000

We are working on a junior Data Analyst role with a highly prestigious Finance House based in Hertfordshire.

This role covers day to day management of service desk queries from internal users; logging all queries for tracking & measurement of turnaround time & ultimate identification of areas requiring improvement; providing specialist support for external users; acting as system advisor to company users wishing to make change requests to the existing systems. You will become an "expert" stakeholder in business projects, alongside being a Data Analyst Specialist, ensuring all user access is aligned with company policy & that all systems are compliant with UK local compliance requirements such as FCA.

The successful candidate will be robust, analytical and with a proven ability in troubleshooting/problem solving skills. You will be well versed in VBA, SharePoint, XML, HTML, Javascript Analytics, Databases: SQL, SSAS Data manipulation and ETL and technically inquisitive with a desire to become a product expert. You will have a sharp eye for detail and will be quick to adapt to new programming languages. Financial Services experience is also essential.

In order to be considered for this opportunity you will have Financial Services experience and at least have a basic understanding of the aforementioned programming languages.
