Our client, a global Investment Management firm with stunning offices in the heart of the City, is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join its Human Resources department on a temporary basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a career Administrator to gain exposure to the Human Resources function.
The role will be a 9 month temporary contract, to start as soon as possible.
Providing wide ranging administrative support to the HR team, amongst your responsibilities will be:
* Assisting with the Recruitment function, to include liaising with agencies, preparing offer and new starter documentation, and arranging induction sessions
* Overseeing the administration and maintenance of employee records in relation to benefits
* Booking staff onto training courses and updating training records
* Managing holiday and absence records
* Preparing HR related correspondence
* Assisting with the annual work experience scheme
* Helping to organise company social events
* Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements
Administrative Assistant - Human Resources - What we're looking for?
* Solid experience within an Administrative role, gained within the Financial or Professional Services sectors
* Previous experience within an HR department would be beneficial but is not essential
* Strong MS Office skills Word, Excel, Outlook
* An appreciation of the need for discretion and confidentiality
* The ability to work flexibility in a fast paced and deadline driven environment
