Morgan McKinley's Secretarial & Office Support team are looking for an experienced Float EA to work for a leading Banking organisation based in Canary Wharf. This is a temporary Float PA role to start ASAP, working initially for 6 months.
The main purpose of the Float EA role is to provide support to a team of Managing Directors and Directors, with their complex and highly confidential information, including a large amount of client interaction and liaison at CEO / Chairman level as well as regular contact with high level management within the business and externally.
Temp pay rate: £18-20 per hour plus holiday pay
Duties and responsibilities will include:
- Diary Management - Proactive maintenance of calendars and meetings
- Screen calls and emails, being an effective gatekeeper and taking messages
- Compose and prepare internal/external correspondence
- Coordinate travel arrangements, understanding executive's travel preferences and needs, and using initiative in managing itinerary times and costings
- Prepare and process expenses
- Create and maintain correspondence and record files
- Assist and fill in for other support staff
- Input and maintain internal databases
- Assist with organising events and parties, client events where required
Skills and experience required for the temp Float EA role:
- Experience of working in a similar Float EA / Float Assistant role within the Banking sector
- Proven experience of operating all office equipment, including telephone functions, and ability to train others in use of the same
- Proven experience of working effectively in a high-pressure and challenging environment
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications, including use of Outlook as a business tool
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Attention to detail with the ability to multi-task effectively and efficiently
- Excellent organisational skills, with strong background in managing multiple priorities
