Summary of the role

Help maintain the company's network server and workstation environment to ensure that there is business continuity & the highest level of security. You will also provide IT help desk support to internal company end users.

Duties

  • Maintaining permissions on network drives and applications and are up-to-date and systems are running efficiently
  • Monitor the connectivity to exchanges/Internet/ between primary & secondary data centres and other sites
  • Assist in the design of computer architecture
  • Undertake daily system checks including back-ups, software compliance, security patch management and other anomalies
  • Review security logs for internal & external access
  • Set up new users with the correct level of authorization & ensure security policies up to date
  • Ensuring outages are dealt with promptly
  • Preparing servers for new applications and monitoring them daily
  • Setting up / building new PC's to comply with internal policy
  • Undertake IT Projects
  • Make sure telephone & mobile devices are set up, secure and also compliant
  • Take internal calls from users and act as de facto 'help desk'
  • Maintain the printers

Requirements

  • Fluent Chinese
  • Graduate in Computing
  • Background in IT Architecture including design/best practice/hardware/software, middleware & security.
  • Knowledge of Windows Server, Workstations, Exchange, SQL, Hyper-V, Active directory, Domain Controllers, DNS, DHCP, Firewalls, routers and switches
  • Knowledge of LINUX based systems
