Facilities Manager
We are currently recruiting for a Facilities Manager.
Who will you be working for?
Our Client is a multi-disciplinary, market leading, professional services firm based in Central London. They provide tax and business advisory services to a diverse range of private and corporate clients, based in the UK and overseas.
What will you be doing?
- Responsibility for the maintenance of the Meeting Room suite, including 1st line support of technology;
- Team Management responsibility;
- Taking leadership across multiple sites;
- Cover for catering/lunch orders where appropriate i. to cover absences or high workloads;
- Carry out incoming post organisation and ensure distribution in a timely manner;
- Carry out the franking of outgoing mail;
- Carry out the arrangement of courier/special deliveries and where deliveries go beyond the M25, liaising with couriers direct and advising employees of delivery time/date and costing;
- Carry out the acceptance of incoming deliveries e. catering, stationery, IT equipment and ensure these are delivered to the addressee in a timely manner;
- Liaise with Document Administrator on any archiving requirements and provide cover during their absence;
- Assisting Facilities team with office moves i. moving /re-arranging furniture;
- Ensure incoming faxes are immediately distributed to the appropriate person.
- Banking of Company cheques - Daily basis
- Setting up/down of meeting room suites
- Topping up of kitchen areas - coffee machines etc
- Ordering/Distribution of Stationery
About you
- Willingness to learn and be a valuable asset to the office
- Previous Team management experience essential.
- Minimum of 5 years within a similar role.
- Experienced in working across multiple sites.
- Previous experience in delegating workloads.
- First Aid and Fire Marshall qualified would be a plus
- Works to achieve objectives
- Identifies the needs of internal clients and works to exceed expectations
- Fully competent in Microsoft Packages
- An understanding of client service excellence
- Strong communication skills
