Our client, a niche US law firm who are flying high on current success are now looking to develop their management team and bring in a brand new role as Business Development Manager.

This individual would be responsible for organising a range of marketing and business development activities relevant to the London office practice and lawyers - essentially working together with the Partners to better service business opportunities and most importantly, to raise the Firm’s profile in the market. 

Main activities will include:-

  • leading on pitches and proposals,
  • research including client and competitor trends,
  • matter management,
  • targeting initiatives,
  • surveys and award submissions,
  • co-ordinate speaking and writing opportunities,
  • organising conferences and seminars, along with promotional activity relating to the Firm’s practice 
  • This role will work alongside the US Business Development team in driving forward firmwide initatives and best practice.

 

  • Candidates should be happy to work in a standalone role, running the department solo, be educated to at least degree level and have at least 4 years experience within a US law firm environment in a similar capacity.
