Client Accounting Coordinator

We are currently recruiting for a Clients Accounting Coordinator to start immediately. This is an ongoing temporary contract paying £24,000, located in the vibrant hub of Central London.

Who will you be working for

Our client is one of the world's leading arts organisation, with multiple offices world-wise, specialising in fine art, jewellery, furniture and wine for over 100 years. A well-established and prestige art organisation with multiple high-profile clients and events.

What will you be doing

You will be responsible for supporting the Client Accounting Manager and Client Accounting team in the management of all aspects of the client transaction when buying and selling at events and via private sales.

  • Performing an account management function, focussing on the transaction journey from a consignment/selling perspective to following the journey to when the lot is sold and settled
  • Manage the journey to make the client transaction as seamless and effective as possible
  • Ensuring that legal, company and statutory requirements are met at all times
  • Providing a high standard of service to the client and the business in a high pressure environment
  • May need to be interchangeable between back/front office teams as and when required

About you

  • Possess previous experience of working in a finance related environment and dealing directly with stakeholders
  • Be confident and approachable with strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Attains a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Positive, dynamic attitude and an ability to lead by example
  • Conduct yourself in a professional manner exhibiting a high level of integrity at all times
  • Knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel and JDE preferred
