Legal Administrator - Degree Educated
New role! Working for a specialist law firm within walking distance of Liverpool Street and Cannon Street station. Degree Educated Administrator required for a permanent position within a growing team with exciting development opportunities!
Legal Administrator - Degree Educated
The successful candidate will be joining a growing law practice with ambitious plans for the future. This firm are an established international law firm, who have only recently opened their London office. They have plans to triple in size over the next 18 months, making it a really exciting place to work!
Responsibilities will include:
Administration:
* Organise and file correspondence
* Manage post and arrange couriers
* Diary management to include co-ordinating and following up meetings
* Seek out and book appropriate business lunch venues
* Arrange travel and accommodation
* Manage the expense reimbursement process for fee earners
* Preparation of legal and non-legal documents (draft, edit, format, print, copy and scan)
* Organise client case folders, assist with the logistics and production of documents during filings
* Assist Office Manager and fee earning team on ad hoc projects, in an administrative and research capacity
Front of house/Conference/Facilities support services:
* Answer the Firm's main line phone and intercom ensuring messages and queries are escalated appropriately
* Meet and greet all visitors and ensure a very high level of client service
* Organise and maintain two conference meeting rooms throughout the day and arrange internal business lunches
* Set up of video conferencing and trouble shoot with IT
* Maintain kitchen facilities and replenish water/coffee fruit routinely
* Ensure printing paper/stationery is replaced and the office space is in good order
Legal Administrator - Degree Educated
This firm are ideally seeking a candidate with the following skills, traits and experience:
* Degree in any discipline
* Twelve months experience in a similar role within a law firm
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills and understanding of confidentiality
* Very competent in the use of Outlook, Excel, Word with a good understanding of IT
* Rigorous organisational skills and a keen eye for detail
* Practical and hands on
* Talented, proactive, reactive and motivated to learn and develop
* Proven ability to work in a team as well as autonomously
* Fluency in a second language such as French or German, is preferable but not essential
* Excellent written and oral English imperative
* Entitled to work full-time in the UK.
