This professional membership body based in Central London is recruiting an Accounts Assistant to provide financial support to all departments.
Key responsibilities of the Accounts Assistant:
- Manage the Finance System by ensuring contact and bank details are up to date, recording all payments received, raising sales invoices and preparing journals as required.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure income is correctly recorded on the college database.
- Complete daily bank reconciliations, weekly cash reports and deposit cheque and cash banking into the organisations bank account.
- Prepare and submit the weekly BACS payment runs.
- Respond to internal and external enquiries and collaborate with staff to resolve payment queries.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Working knowledge of accounts assistant and bookkeeping.
- Previous administration experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- IT literate and confident with all MS Office applications.
