HR - Payroll & Benefits Officer

We are working on a Payroll & Benefits role in the HR team at a leading luxury brand based in Central London. This role is responsible for providing an accurate and fully compliant monthly payroll cycle and benefits for circa 1,000 employees.

Our client are based in the most fabulous offices and offer a generous benefits package, so turnover is historically very low and the HR team are dynamic and social.

Duties include:

  • Liaison with HR.
  • Update the database for starters, leavers, sickness, absence, maternity, paternity, and other amendments.
  • Keep abreast of legislative changes that impact payroll and benefits to work with the HR team to plan ahead for changes.
  • Monthly reporting to benefit providers.
  • Assist with processing payroll to ensure that all staff receive accurate and timely payment on a monthly basis.
  • Assist employees with queries related to Pay, Benefits, Tax, NI, etc.
  • Any other HR duties as required.

What we are looking for in the HR, Payroll & Benefits Officer:

  • Good organisation skills to achieve strict deadlines.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Understanding of PAYE legislation.
  • Able to work under pressure and to tight deadliness.
  • At least 3 – 5 years’ experience preferably within a retail or multi-brand environment.

We are looking for a candidate who has experience of HR systems and advanced Excel are essential, as well as a detailed technical knowledge of UK payroll processes and legislation.
