Hours: Tuesday - Saturday, 10am - 6pm

This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive, self-sufficient and unflappable Assistant to join a world-leading contemporary art gallery in Mayfair.

This Assistant will provide support to a Senior Partner, with responsibilities including (but not limited to):

• Coordinating viewings of gallery and exhibitions
• Assisting senior partner with projects, including research and arranging photography
• Liaising with artists, press and museums for exhibitions and events
• Maintaining the database with sales, reservations and loans
• Booking international travel to the gallery's other studios around the world, with the option of travelling with the Senior Partner to support during exhibitions
• Ad-hoc administration.

The ideal candidate for this Assistant role will have experience of supporting at a senior level in a fast-paced environment, preferably with experience in an arts environment including galleries, auction houses or studios. You will also have excellent organisational and communication skills, with any additional fluent languages being a bonus.

Salary for this Assistant role is circa £40K depending on experience and the role comes with additional benefits including a discretionary bonus.
