Based in stunning offices in the prestigious area of Mayfair, our client is looking for an ambitious and proactive Office Assistant to join their vibrant team. A fantastic opportunity for a self-starter who is keen to progress or kick-start their support career.

Responsibilities:

  • Co-ordinate meetings and correctly prepare the meeting rooms/offices
  • Effectively maintain the appointment diary
  • Welcome visitors and escort/direct them to the correct location where applicable
  • Maintain a clean and pleasant appearance of the reception area and meeting rooms at all times
  • Monitor the Director’s email inbox, printing and collating incoming mail promptly for attention
  • Sort and distribute the incoming post promptly and efficiently and to ensure outgoing post is ready and mailed on time
  • Keep the office files, contact lists, petty cash and archiving/filing records updated as necessary
  • Place orders for stationery, food and drink and other consumables used within the office and organise taxis and couriers, always keeping the necessary details to check against invoices
  • Answer the telephone promptly, in a professional manner dealing with queries and providing information to callers as required
  • Efficiently pass on messages to the appropriate person ensuring lines of communication are open at all times
  • Provide ongoing support to the PAs as and when requested

Requirements:

  • Good written and spoken communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Proactive
  • Efficient and good organisational skills
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft office
  • A flexible attitude
  • Effective verbal and listening skills
  • Team player
  • Previous corporate receptionist experience desirable but not essential
