My clients are a leading restaurant and are looking to recruit a HR officer for a temp position starting on the 21st October. This may even go permanent but to start at least 4 weeks.
The Role:
The HR Officer will support the Human Resources Department in all areas of Human Resources including but not limited to employee benefits, staffing, payroll, employee relations, record keeping, human resources interfacing, and general administrative support.
Key Responsibilities:
HR
Ensure all processes for orientation are completed e. ID card requests, Fourth data is accurate
Ensures employee data is maintained and retained in line with GDPR/relevant legislation
Provides end to end employee relations support where required e. investigations, letters of concern, general advice, disciplinaries, maternity, paternity etc.
Provides end to end recruitment support where required e. offer letters, posting adverts, onboarding
Assist with training to ensure tools and documents are up to date, distributed to new starters. The training platform Flow is managed and kept up to date and coordination of external training which can include fire Marshall and first air training
Employee noticeboard updates in line with guidelines including organisation charts
Ensures that team concerns are listened to and facilitate resolutions in line with the law and company procedures
Ensures all HR administration tasks are completed for new starters e. Company email address, Fourth Hospitality access, Avero, MyMicros, etc.
Job Requirements
Self-motivated, able to take initiative and use sound judgement in day-to-day decision making
Professional, courteous, reliable, and mature, with outstanding organizational and communication skills
Able to interact with all levels of staff, and external suppliers with tact and diplomacy
Flexible and able to work with others as a team
Punctual and reliable in work attendance
Ability to keep complete confidentiality within the HR Department
Professional Requirements
3+ years of experience in Human Resources Administration/generalist
Up to date knowledge of HR policies/procedures and best practices
Up to date knowledge of employment law
Diploma of Higher Education, ideally CIPD Qualified or actively studying
