Are a privately owned Lloyd's broker at the cutting edge of global insurance innovation. They are looking for a PA/Office Manager to support the COO.


Your new role

Working in an excellent environment the company seeks a bright, confident person with good communication skills, who can prioritise and work with a wide variety of people within the business.

  • Duties are to be responsible for Diary Management and organising meetings
  • Organising business travel, both UK and International
  • Meeting organisation and administration including preparing agenda and meeting packs, minute taking and Circulation of minutes post-meeting
  • Preparation of expenses
  • Meeting and greeting visitors
  • Dealing with incoming phone calls and emails
  • General administration - post, faxing, photocopying, filing, binding reports
  • Organising corporate entertaining e. arranging lunches and evening dinners
  • Typing general correspondence
  • Office management will include liaising with vendors and negotiating to get value
  • Being in touch with facilities to note an issues
  • Ordering office supplies
  • Day to day running of the office and problem solving
  • Setting up video conferencing and conference calls
  • Dealing with IT issues / suppliers as they arise
  • Managing the office budget and expenses



What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience working as a PA within the insurance sector at a senior level.
  • Experience with office management.
  • A bubbly, upbeat attitude and the willingness to muck in.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Flexible and calm under pressure
  • Good problem solving and decision-making abilities
  • Attention to detail
