We are working on an exciting opportunity for an experienced General Manager to work at an authentic, Chef owned French Bistro in trendy North London.
This popular venue is on a bustling and vibrant high street with traditional French décor across three dining rooms, including a private dining area.
As the General Manager;
• Day to day running of the venue, including providing a quality service, opening and closing the venue, prepping for daily service including money float and all supplies, cashing up the tills, financial reporting and waste recording
• Working directly with the business owner to contribute ideas for a smooth service
• Assist with profit/loss forecasting budgets
• Managing/scheduling staff rota
• Overseeing the stock control levels, managing maintenance, supplier relationships, and take responsibility for venue presentation
• Manage bookings, ensure VIPs are looked after
• Take ownership of event planning in the private dining room
• Building strong relationships with locals and other business within the community
• Making sure that the venue is looks immaculate at all times and happy to roll your sleeves up with the up keep of the venue
About you
• Confident communicator
• A people person and enjoy building relationships with customers
• Experience working as a General Manager within a restaurant
• A positive can-do attitude and enjoys using intuitive
• Passionate about wine, French cuisine and top-notch service delivery
The role
• Full time (5 days a week)
• Salary up to £33,000 depending on level of experience
• 28 days holiday
