Construction Team Administrator

Waterloo

12- 13 per hour plus holiday pay

Are you a confident Administrator with some experience within the construction industry?

My client is based close to Waterloo Station and are looking to appoint a new team assistant for their office.

They are looking for someone who is dynamic, ambitious and hard working. You will be joining a small but very friendly and supportive team.

Duties of the role:

HR:

  • Prepare document for and induct new starters and leavers
  • Contracts
  • Holiday and sickness log
  • Assist with recruitment

Admin:

  • Print and issue trade orders
  • Update and maintain the database
  • Minutes in meetings
  • Liaise with engineers and contractors 
  • Collation of contractor proposals
  • Order office supplies
  • Deal with call and emails

Finance:

  • Create purchase orders
  • File incoming invoices
  • Raise sales invoices and log
  • Send sales invoices
  • Invoice sign off

Tenders:

  • Create tenders
  • Send tender enquiries to sub-contractors
  • Printing drawings/specs as required
  • Ensure all tenders are tracked and logged

Requirements:

  • Experience within a similar position
  • Experience with the construction industry ideally
  • A team player
  • Excellent IT skills

This role is working 8 to 5pm Mon to Fri and every other saturday 7:30 to 3pm every other Saturday.
