Working as part of the finance team, you will provide comprehensive and professional administrative and secretarial support, as well as traditional support tasks such as diary management, responding to emails and preparing meeting papers.

Secondly, you will be required to work flexibly, to ensure adequate support is provided for all the Corporate Leadership Group during peaks in demand for support, as well as providing cover for holidays and sickness within the Strategy and Performance directorate.

If you love a list, then you’ll love this 'must have’ list:

  • Successful experience of working as a personal assistant to senior management

  • Flexible, pro-active approach to work
  • Able to multi-task, with the ability to prioritise and re-prioritise to achieve successful outcomes
  • Able to work to tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure

  • Fully computer literate including advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite of programmes as well as a working knowledge of Google Docs would be an advantage
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write concisely and accurately

  • Excellent team working skills with the ability to work collaboratively and co-operatively with colleagues
  • Able to use own initiative
  • Highly organised and capable of maintaining efficient systems

You will split your days between two locations, one in central London and the second in East London. Initially it is anticipated that the split will be 3 days in East and 2 days in central. This will need to be flexible to meet the needs of the Director you are supporting and the CLG.
