On behalf of our client, a cool furniture design and manufacturing organisation, we are seeking an Order scheduler to join the busy design team. The ideal Order scheduler for this progressive company would be somebody who has a passion for learning and attention to detail.
The position is based in Hertfordshire, on a temporary - permanent basis and hours of work will be 9am - 3pm.
The main responsibilities for this Order scheduler are:
*To liaise with the procurement team to assign works order ID's to projects
*Running programs to generate cutting lists, drilling programs, works order reports and drawings
*Compiling works order packs for signoff
*Reviewing paperwork against a checklist to help ensure accurate data is delivered
The Order scheduler will be able to demonstrate:
*Prior experience of CAD software to a basic level (or happy to learn)
*Care and commitment to providing accurate information to customers
*Excellent drawing, reading and understanding skills
*Good communication skills both verbally and written
We are looking for Order scheduler's who have:
*Previous experience coordinating documentation in a busy department
*Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
*Understanding and knowledge of furniture design and manufacture
*Logical mindset for helping to organise and check documentation
