SENIOR INTERIOR DESIGNER FOR OPERATIONS MANAGER ROLE FOR AWARD WINNING BRITISH INTERIOR DESIGN CO, UPTO £60K

This is a unique role replacing an Operations Director who has been a key figure in the business for the last 10 years.  My client, a highly successful, 40 staff friendly Interior Design Agency based in London with an International client base is looking to recruit an experienced Operations Manager ideally from a Design Agency background.  The role will develop as you become an integral interface between the Agency and their Clients.  The key principals to the role are HR and Resource Management and a general overview of the role is as follows:

Support the CEO and Directors in advancing the business

Analysis and review of the company finances to increase profits, cut costs and improve cashflow

Work with the team to assess operational risks, target areas for improvement and implement the necessary steps and solutions

Implement and maintain effective systems and processes to achieve maximum team productivity

Maintain & grow an engaged & committed team

Manage support team to ensure office and infrastructure are operating smoothly

Individual 360 review with the whole team to get to know them, their roles and start to establish a picture of the business

Review fee proposals with key team to establish new structure going forward

Familiarise with Client T&Cs, project Phases and invoice structure

Attend resourcing and workloads meetings to establish areas of improvement and solutions

Ensure GDPR compliance with PR Marketing Manager

Review and update company processes

Review current projects, margins and resources against fees

Attend Weekly Functional Heads meetings

Line Manage Purchasing Manager and Chief Accountant

Attend weekly Ops and Finance meetings
