A prestigious US Law Firm based in the heart of the City is looking for a new Billing Clerk to join the London office on a permanent basis to support the Billing Manager and Billing Assistants with all aspects of drafting and finalising client bills.  Responsibilities will include assisting billing assistants with generating pro formas, assisting with time transfers, edit time entry narrative (addition and corrections), preparing write off memos and cash application charts, obtaining back-up images for disbursements to include with final invoices based on client billing requirement, scanning and filing of invoices and posting packages, generating billing variance reports and write-off reports; obtaining appropriate write-off approvals based on firm established policies/thresholds.  This role is ideal for someone with either 6 months experience working within a professional services organisation, or someone straight from education.  This positions requires strong customer service and interpersonal skills – candidates must be educated to A Level/GCSE standard and have obtained A-C/9-4 in Maths and English.  Standard hours are 9.30am – 5.30pm.
