3-Month FTC: High-Level Corporate Paralegal @ US Law Firm £32K + OT

Leading US law firm is looking for a bright, enthusiastic, well-organised and independent paralegal to provide support to the fee-earners in their Corporate & Securities team.  This role is to start in early August and will be for an initial 3-months with a view to extending.  This team only has two Paralegals so you will be given excellent exposure to the highest quality of work and interaction at all levels within the team.  Duties will include drafting documents for transactions such as board minutes, agendas, subscription and redemption letters, proofing and amending documents in preparation for the group’s board meetings, communicating with external lawyers, daily interaction with the directors and registered agents in relation to items such as share issues, redemption of shares and changes to the memorandum or articles of association and incorporation of new companies, drafting Know Your Client (KYC) letters and preparing ancillary documents for certification, maintaining KYC files for the requirements of banks in multiple jurisdictions in relation to transactions and the opening of and / or changes to accounts.  Applicants needs to have a degree, 2.1 or above, be it a law degree or GDL with a minimum 6 months experience within a corporate or company/commercial environment at a top London based law firm.  This role is a permanent position with the offices based in the City, working 9:30am to 5:30pm.
