Patent Secretary

One of the UK's leading Intellectual Property law firms are currently seeking an accomplished Patent Secretary to join them on a permanent basis. This role is working closely with one of the firms high-flying Patent Attorney's, on a 1:1 basis providing both secretarial and organisational support.

This successful Patent Secretary will be joining a firm with a vibrant culture, and an excellent reputation for developing their support staff in order to help them fulfil their potential. This firm are known for encouraging the development of their Patent Secretaries, by providing comprehensive training on their in-house systems, and by contributing to/funding external training (such as the CIPA course!)

Patent Secretary

This role is working one a 1:1 basis with a highly regarded Patent Attorney within the firm. The reason for such close support being required is purely down to the volume of work that he produces - needless to say, this is a busy role! This role will require the successful candidate to work 9am until 5pm from Monday to Friday at the firms London office, easily accessible from Chancery Lane, Holborn and Blackfriars stations, as well as Thameslink.

In order to be considered for this position, you must possess the following skills/experience:

- Experience gained as a Patent Secretary within a respectable Intellectual Property or Private Practice law firm.

- A tested typing speed of at least 55wpm (JM legal can provide testing!)

- A CIPA qualification (or desire to achieve this!) - Desirable, not essential.
