Project Manager within Executive Search

What will you be doing?

The Project Manager positions will involve working within supportive team's; the Project Management teams are responsible for Client and Candidate communication and are often the first point of contact. Their role is to ensure that the appointment process runs as smoothly as possible from start to finish.

You will also oversee: -

  • Business Development - supporting and devising business development strategy and pro-active business support.
  • Diary Management, this will involve organising meetings and events as required by the team/Consultants.
  • Numerous projects with some being more challenging than others and potentially across more than one business area.
  • Being the primary contact for incoming communications from Clients, Candidates and new business queries.
  • Being a supporting member of the team; training new and junior staff members, working collaboratively on special project's and on occasion stepping up to support the Consultant by attending pitches, meeting brief, administration of documents required for Client meetings and general account management.

What do you need?

  • A 2:1 degree or equivalent is highly desired (with A's and B's at A-level also desirable).
  • Pro-active and professional approach.
  • A high level of efficiency and attention to detail.
  • Strong aptitude towards IT.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confident ability to multi-task holding good organisation skills.
  • An adaptable approach to an ever-changing workload and deadlines.
  • You will need to have a personable approach to your work; the expectation is that you will be consultative and never be transactional.
  • You will ideally have an interest in either education or non-profit sectors and have worked within similar role or in a client facing project orientated position previously.
  • Comfortability in building relationships - this position will involve making warm or cold consultative calls for business development purposes.
  • Willingness to complete any necessary administration.
  • A good team spirit and positive approach to your work.
