People Advisor

Up to £40k

Major Players are working with a fast-growing start up who have not only tripled their customer base in the last 7 months but they have also won a host of awards too! They're now on the lookout for a super organised People Advisor to join their busy team.

This is a varied role created out of their continual growth, and they need someone who will thrive in a busy and changing environment. Reporting into the Head of People, you will provide the support they need to help grow the business by getting involved in recruitment, helping deliver against the team's processes and ensuring the People Team are creating the best working environment for all our employees.


  • Work with key stakeholders to ensure that the People team are delivering a strong employee experience and that company values are embedded in everything they do
  • Help the People Team respond to internal HR queries and actions, preparing employee documents and ensuring compliance with HR protocols
  • Support with the delivery and improvement of inductions for new starters - they are growing a lot and have weekly induction sessions
  • Work with the People Team to deliver adhoc projects including managing risk, training and employer brand
  • Using your expertise, assist in ER issues that might arise by advising management and informing relevant stakeholders of any issues as appropriate
  • Using your business partnering expertise ensure people's needs are met
  • Get involved with the Social Committee to ensure they continually offer a diverse range of social events
  • Help them reach their hiring goals by hiring top talent and building on their employer brand
  • Proactively source and develop a pipeline of talent
  • Assist with recruiting initiatives such as local recruitment fairs and deliver and own new initiatives with local schools and colleges
  • Communicate with the candidates at each stage of the process through our ATS
  • Provide weekly reports to the Head of People and the Directors on the recruitment pipeline for your business partnering area
  • Support the entire employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding
  • Work with the team to ensure our HRIS is up to date and maintain employee files

Candidate Profile

  • You love what you do and are excited at the idea of joining a fast growth company that values its culture
  • You have significant experience in an HR/People role and want to bring your generalist HR skills, love of organisation and helping others
  • You are an ambassador of a companies values and enjoy promoting employer brands externally
  • You are highly organised and enjoy working with a team
  • You have experience of delivering HR projects
  • You are a strong communicator, are approachable, and know how to communicate with empathy
