Nanny/Housekeeper/Cook - Dorset with travel

TigerPrivate is recruiting for a lovely, hands on Nanny/Housekeeper/Cook to support a busy young family. The position is caring for a charming 9 month old boy, helping out the family with housekeeping and laundry and also providing light, family cooking – such as batch cooking for the baby and preparing family meals. Mum and Dad are often around and very hands on and there is additional help with the clients using a cleaning company and they also have a Family PA.

The role is based in a beautiful part of Poole in Dorset, but requires regular travel, sometimes for stints of a few weeks, to London and a home in the Balearic's. Therefore, total flexibility is key!!!

The position is being advertised as live in - there will be a flat close to the family house provided, but should candidates live in the local area they will also be considered and the salary increased. 

Candidates must have a valid UK, clean driving licence – a car will be provided. 

DUTIES:

• Looking after the daily needs of the child including feeding him, bathing him, attending toddler groups and other activities, playing with him, helping him learn new skills and generally being a consistent figure in his life alongside Mum and Dad
• Helping to keep the house clean and tidy – hoovering, mopping, washing floors, dusting, tidying
• Helping with laundry and ironing
• Cooking – batch cooking, family meals etc
• Provisioning – making sure the fridge is stocked etc
• Travelling with the family
• Mucking in where needed

FURTHER DETAILS:

• Working hours are 9am to 6pm – working Tuesday to Saturday with Sunday and Monday off
• The key is having someone who is flexible and willing to adapt to the needs of the family – including a willingness to travel, often at short notice and for periods of time
• The salary will be adjusted/increased if offered to a candidate with their own accommodation in the local area

ABOUT YOU:

• You will have previous experience working in a domestic household in a similar role
• You will have previous experience supporting a high net-worth family with travel
• You will have a clean driving licence and will be a safe and competent Driver
• You will have great check able references
• You will be friendly and warm with a good sense of humour
• You Will have lots of energy and be happy with a variety of tasks
