PA to MD - Property Investment

This incredibly successful, boutique property company provides investment for the property development market both here and abroad.  A fairly young company but with highly experienced leaders who have incredible experience in their backgrounds. 

This is a very unique opportunity for a PA to build their own role.  Very often this is said as a 'selling tool' but in reality, is not really the case.  In this job, we are actively seeking an ambitious, bright graduate (probably) who wants to seize a golden opportunity and develop within this niche but growing company.

The MD is fun, lively, down to earth and would make a great mentor for someone who is willing to come in, be his PA and provide excellent administrative and back-up support, but who wants to take on other areas of the business too - ultimately being in a client facing role.  Other areas open for this person to develop are marketing, events, PR, client management.  Probably within a year you would be taking on a junior to do some of the grunt work so that you can progress in any or all of these other areas.  Basically you can write your own job spec!  The MD likes to develop people's careers so you'd be encouraged at every step of the way.

Things that are important from the start are, a lively, enquiring mind, good knowledge of Powerpoint so that you can help him with creative pitches, good Excel, a down to earth attitude, some financial acumen, great interpersonal skills and someone who is entirely unstuffy and a team player.  They have a lot of fun in the office too so although you are working hard there is probably a fair bit of banter as well.
