Corporate events Coordinator

Salary: Up to £55,000 plus amazing benefits & bonus & travel!

Location: London, SW1

 

Based in London, our client is a leading privately owned global financial services firm with offices worldwide. Serving individual investors and financial institutions around the globe through a broad range of products and services such as asset management, financial advisory as well as investments for both the private and HNW sectors.  

This exciting and new role is part of the Global Meeting and Events Team and is responsible for developing and implementing a variety of corporate events and seminars across the Asia Pacific, North America and European Regions. This includes in-house conferences, roadshows and bespoke expeditions. This role would manage access to all lines of business in the areas of corporates, industry experts, academics, government officials, and internal investment professionals.

By providing these services in a centralised function, our client is able to support the Global business initiatives in an efficient, professional and world best in a high-class service model. The primary function is to enhance both the client and employee experience at by providing services for all lines of the business on a global scale.

Responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with the Corporate Access and roadshow team on the execution of corporate access activities
  • Directly engaging with both internal and external suppliers to develop internal conference and trip meeting schedules
  • The ability to manage logistics from start to finish; make decisions with little supervision
  • Developing and maintaining internal and external data
  • The ability to access engagement to evaluate meetings and services
  • Lead internal and external meetings and providing guidance and ideas
  • Other administrative duties and ad hoc responsibilities as and when required

Qualifications

  • 3+ years’ experience of global events and meetings planning
  • Prior corporate access and roadshow experience is a benefit
  • An extremely self-motivated individual who is able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team structure
  • Ability to communicate in a clear, concise, confident and accurate manner
  • The ability to interact with all organisational levels, both internally and externally
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills,
  • A strong business acumen, and ability to provide a high-class customer service experience
  • A creative and innovative thinker
  • The ability to problem-solve and stay calm under pressure
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • The ability to multi-task different projects at once
  • Willingness to travel 20-25% and attend evening and weekend events as and when needed
  • A Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Familiar with meeting technology is desirable (e.g. Cvent, Outlook, etc.)
