Brilliant event admin contract supporting the Event Manager at this sustainability-focused UN-supported body – working on an international events programme – a series of one-day global conferences … They are specifically looking for someone who wants to build their events career – and you’ll be given great training on all their systems to help you do this!

Role:
Ideal role for someone who is looking to develop a career in event management. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hard-working team player with great administration skills, who is passionate about event management. Fixed term position to support the events team delivering their busy international events programme … You’ll be responsible for the event admin of the events, including overseeing pre-event and onsite registration processes, updating website, answering delegate queries and general event assistance. You’ll be joining a small, friendly and dedicated team. Contract role until March 2020 – (with potential to extend beyond) - fab opportunity to build your events CV and career! Activities include:
- Create event emails using MarketingCloud
- Updating event webpages
- Managing delegate registrations in Salesforce
- Preparing name badges and materials for onsite
- Responding to delegate enquiries
- Preparing delegate feedback forms
- Assisting the events team with any other tasks on an ad-hoc bsis
- Provide regular reporting to the Events Executive and Director of Events as required
You’ll need:
- Some initial experience from an office or events environment in an administrative role (miminum six months)
- Previous event admininistration experience is advantageous, but not essential
- Good IT skills, accurate data entry, excellent attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills – great telephone manner
- Friendly, approachable professional attitude, supportive and flexible team player
- Great co-ordination skills, hands on with bags of common sense and ‘can-do’ attitude
- Desire to progress your career within the events industry ideally
- Comfortable with technology and able to get to grips with new systems quickly
- Experience in any of Salesforce, WebVision, and MarketingCloud all advantageous – but not essential
- An interest in sustainability will see you really enjoying this role!
