Highly prosperous and very well established international asset management firm based in the West End is looking for a Team PA with previous experience working within boutique finance houses to provide support to a small team of investment professionals. With lovely offices and excellent working environment, this is a great opportunity to with work well respected individuals in the industry and be part of their growth on continuing success.
Duties and experience will include
- Act as an organisational lynchpin for a team of investment professionals
- Full diary management
- Arranging both internal and external meetings, video-conferences and conference calls
- Arranging travel and producing comprehensive, accurate itineraries; handling last minute on-the-road changes (and out of hours if absolutely necessary)
- Proactively screening and dealing with calls and other correspondences professionally and responsibly
- Telephone contact with external EAs/senior management/board members and phone cover for the group
- Accurate prompt processing of expenses, reconciliation and management of payments
- Occasionally organise events inc dinners and lunch
- Process London office invoices
- Typing (file notes), filing, photocopying, binding
- Some editing of PowerPoint presentations
- Handling confidential information and relaying on strict need to know basis
- General executive assistant duties
- Research
Skills and experience required
- Good standard of education, degree not essential but must be bright
- Previous experience working within banking or financial institutions
- Strong MS office and administrative skills
- Must be a real team player
- Excellent written skills and strong attention to detail
- Proactive and methodical, well organised and able to keep on top of workload even at busy times
- Ability to work in a fast and busy environment
- Must display confidence and be able to remain calm under pressure
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Excellent organisational skills, ability to multi-task and good sense of urgency
- Professional telephone manner
- Proactive with ability to think ahead, prioritise workload on a daily basis
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Knowledge of European languages an advantage
