Communications Officer 14 month FTC

Who will you be working for?

A reputable membership organisation focussing on training, research, quality and advice for its vast member base in the health sector.

What will you be doing?

• Creating accurate and compelling content
• Deliver and evaluate content across web-based media platforms, the intranet and social media
• Manage the media training process
• Collaborate with the Press Officer
• Work closely with Head of Communications on various projects
• Support the communications team with crisis communications
• Maintain the website and blog pages
• Assist with media enquiries

About you

• Strong experience content managing social media channels and websites
• Experience of writing engaging and high quality content
• Sourcing opportunities to develop news
• Experience in a communications team
• Ability to work independently or with a team
• Strong experience of engaging and interacting with people of all levels
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• Fully proficient in Microsoft packages, Twitter, Facebook and Hootsuite
