Reception Supervisor / Team Leader
Our client, a top global leading law firm in the city currently has a new opening for a Reception Supervisor / Team Leader to come on board and hit the ground running. This is very much a hands on role. Someone who can have a real positive impact and influence on the team.
You will have the ability to influence, motivate and manage the team as well as being proactive and provide an exceptional level of service.
You need to be highly organised, forward planning, think on your feet and outside the box. Excellent communication skills at all levels and have the ability to support the needs of the business.
- You will be responsible for ensuring that the reception team and area are running to that exceptional level at all times.
- Ensuring that the reception area is neat and tidy at all times, all meetings rooms are functioning and running as required.
- Responsible for team rota and ensuring each shift is covered.
- Recommending any improvements to ensure smooth working practices.
- Working in conjunction with other departments such as facilities, catering, maintenance.
- Dealing with queries efficiently.
- Demonstrate leadership and assisting with training and on-boarding and developing employees
- Show willingness and flexibility within the role and being prepared to help out wherever required at the drop of a hat.
- Ensure Health and Safety policy is being adhered to at all times.
- Ensure that the client/visitor journey is five star at all times.
- You will be fully aware of the importance of this position to the organisation and be committed at all times.
- Able to handle difficult situations promptly.
- Able to use your initiative and being proactive in the role.
- Reliable and trustworthy as well as being focused and determined.
- Able to keep calm and in control at all times.
- Take ownership and responsibility of position.
The ideal candidate will have managed at least a team of 10 or more, worked within hospitality as well as having at least one years' corporate experience and managed at least 20 meeting rooms plus.
