Working for small international charity this role will see you supporting organisations event and individual giving teams with administration, research and operational delivery, thus contributing to event and individual income in line with annual targets. This is a great opportunity for candidates who have had some events exposure but still building their experience working with a worthwhile charity to help organise annual conferences, awards evenings and dinners. This role will also require candidates who can work proactively to help undertake research and use the CRM system to record and capture data.

The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level or with equivalent vocational experience in a relevant field , will need to be self organised, proactive and someone who has previously used a CRM system.

  • Assist the Manager on the development of proposals
  • Research and assess potential new sources of funding.
  • Diary management & preparation of briefs/debriefs for ED meetings
  • Assist to create, organise, coordinate and implement large-scale fund raising and awareness raising events for our Major Donor base, working with external project manager on logistics and delivery of events events.(included in the above).
  • Maintain office records and general upkeep.
  • Continued building of systems, processes and infrastructure in the European office.
  • Supporting on editing organisational documents e. messaging for UK audience
  • Support with research tasks as assigned by the Development Officer or the Events Manager, such as researching potential partners, event venues and suppliers.
  • Analyse budget information as required to support the development and measurement of the team's strategy and events programme.
  • Manage maintenance of donor records relevant to Events using Salesforce database.
  • Coordinate event invitations, including guest list management, design coordination, organising mailings and collating RSVPS.
  • Coordinate operational tasks, such as preparing name badges, putting together goodie bags and setting up guest lists on the iPads.
  • Be on hand to meet and greet guests at events, helping with guest flow and ensuring events run to time, as briefed by the Event Manager or Development Officer.
  • Support streamlined internal operations through administration tasks on an ad hoc basis.

This is a 6 month FTC starting early September so candidates will need to be free to start then.
