We have an amazing opportunity for an excellent Company Secretarial Assistant who is intelligent and friendly, with superb communication skills and board level experience to join a growing organisation in the City on a temporary basis.

Expectation is high in this role. The role will be working to assist the Company Secretarial Manager with all administrative tasks. You will need to be a confident and experienced Company Secretarial Assistant who is able to carry out all of the expected duties.

The role will include providing assistance with the preparation of board information and packs. Maintaining a statutory database of company registers and information for 140+ UK Companies, attending and taking minutes of board and project meetings.

We are looking for an outstanding hire who is anticipatory, team spirited and always willing to go above and beyond.

Job spec:

  • Arranging Committee and Board meeting
  • Preparation of Board packs
  • Taking and typing up of minutes
  • Governance reviews
  • Reporting Reviewing of agreements
  • Maintenance of the agreements database
  • Assisting with board information
  • Coordinating responses and documentation to requests from clients
  • liaising with Directors, Finance Managers and General Managers
  • Complaints resolution assisting with all general administration
  • Assisting with compliance projects


Key personal characteristics:


You will have necessary and relevant company secretarial knowledge, skills and experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organisational skills to provide assistance with the preparation of Board and Committee meeting information and packs. Must be a confident and experienced minute taker. Must be comfortable working in a fast paced environment and have the ability to work well within a small team. High level of personal responsibility in task management to ensure delivery. Skills and experience of working within a Company Secretarial Assistant role previously.
