Head of Sales, UK&I – Global Tech Company!

Working on behalf of a Global Technology company who are looking to recruit a new Head of Sales – UK&I. This will be based in Central London and you will you be serving as the Senior Leader in the UK, this role will be centred on driving sales bookings and revenue growth within the UK and Ireland.

You will be the Highest point of contact in the UK as it pertains to resolving client issues in a timely and thorough manner and/or making relevant day to day decisions necessary for business continuity/success.

  • Primary concentration will be on the Up-Market around the Enterprise Accounts (Key FTSE 100, 10,000+ employee), Major Accounts (1,000+ Employees), Commercial Accounts (251-1,000 employees), Public Sector/Education and FSI segment.  Responsibilities include secondary oversight of SMB, Online Account Executive Team (1-10 employee market) and BDR functions.  Coordination with Marketing, Services, SE, Customer Success and Professional Services. 
  • Strong experience in recruiting and retaining, enabling and developing sales talent to establish a world-class SaaS organization delivering repeatable and consistent results with high integrity, skill and competency
  • Identify areas of improvement for individual team members and provide 1:1 training with manager coaching.  Regular engagement with team
  • Engagement with C-level and VP-level Executives initiated by the sales organization
  • Key Account engagements, active participation will require, but is not limited to, presentations, executive alignment, product and category positioning, closing process participation and the like
  • Leverage core system tools with Sales Operations support to properly manage the complete sales cycle and business operations
  • Highly informed of product line, competition and industry changes that may impact client business activities.  Communicate and bolster the organization accordingly
  • Ensure employee satisfaction and happiness centered around a high value environment that is performance minded and focused on disrupting a market

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree desirable Required, 10+ years of Enterprise Sales Management and/or MD experience in progressive High Tech (preferably) company. 
  • Full time role in the London, UK with daily office and/or client visits required
  • Broad based leadership skills in diverse organizations with remit of steering 50 or more employees forward with a common vision, mission and goals
  • Evidence of high achievement and quota attainment and past organizations
  • Evidence of cultivating and contributing to a positive team culture
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities centred around integrity and ethics
  • Demonstratable examples of care for customers
  • Willingness to help others grow and develop within the team
  • Business forecasting, pipeline development and management skills are expected
  • Proven client satisfaction, proven track record, & strong team player
  • Must have strong verbal skills with consultative professional business acumen
  • Must be detail oriented, organized, ethical, responsible, & self-motivated
  • Salesforce CRM experience preferred
