Job Title: Records Clerk

Salary: £41,000

Location: Central London

International firm of patent and trademark attorneys require an experienced records clerk to join their formalities / records team. This is a vital support role and the firm are looking for someone with a broad range of experience in IP formalities.

A small selection of duties:

  • Maintaining diaries for patent and trademark renewals
  • Updating databases with new cases and clients
  • Creating reports for fee earners
  • Keeping track of patent and trademark deadlines and maintaining the patent and trademark due date diaries
  • Checking, logging and filing of hard copy official documents at the UK-IPO, EPO EUIPO, WIPO where necessary

Strong IT skills are imperative and previous experience using Inprotech IP software will be required. Communication and organisations skills are essential as you will delegated with overseeing and keeping track of a large volume of cases. This an excellent opportunity for someone to continue their career in intellectual property in a forward thinking, ambitious and dynamic firm.
