Press Officer East London Up to £36,000

Our Client a growing Charitable Housing Association is seeking a creative thinker to work closer with their media relations.

This is a fantastic opportunity if you have previous journalist experience or have proven in-house PR knowledge.

Key duties will include:
*Ability to translate complex policy and technical language into plain English and help maximize public and political understanding of our work.
*Working closely with seniors to support the delivery of external affairs
*Producing external media content
*Developing and pitching stories and features to secure widespread media coverage.
*Maintaining relationships within the area to promote companies' values
*Liaising with relevant departments and external contacts to delivery communications

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years relevant experience within a press team environment and ideally be educated to degree level or have a relevant specialist qualification
