A central government organisation are in need of a Compliance officer to assist the Compliance Delivery and Advice Manager in the Risk Directorate. All candidates will have to complete an application form to be considered for the position. The closing date for this role is 23/08/19 and shortlisting and interviews will take place shortly after

Your new role

As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for implementing and delivering the compliance function in line with the organisations' compliance policies. Working in a team of 5, you will be providing appropriate advice and guidance on business projects, and working closely with the data protection and quality manager in delivering the appropriate practices required.

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have knowledge and understanding of all rules, regulations, codes of practice, guidance and industry best practice. You must also have knowledge of the conduct of business and treating customers fairly rules. Additionally, you must have experience meeting tight deadlines, liaising with senior management and understanding the regulatory matters in respect of the GDPR, Data protection Acts, Freedom of Information Acts and more
