Our client is looking for a clear and persuasive communicator to join one of their busiest teams. You need to be adaptable and willing to go the extra mile.

Our client is an award winning merchandising company who supply the charity and Fundraising industries.

In the role of Junior Sales Account Manager/Coordinator you will provide vital all-round support to the Sales Director of the sales team. This includes sourcing products, briefing in-house designers and general support. This is a rare opportunity to develop a wide range of customer service skills to the highest level.

You will have direct daily contact with some of our largest and long standing customers. In addition, you will have the opportunity to build your own customer base.

In this role you will:

  • Deal with client queries over the telephone
  • Be the first contact for initial new business enquiries
  • Account handling existing clients
  • Build strong customer relationships and develop your own customer base
  • Assist in sourcing promotional products
  • Produce artwork briefs for our in-house design team
  • Liaise and negotiate with product sourcing houses and manufacturers
  • Input client information to the sales CRM/database application
  • On occasion; provide the sales director with quotes, order confirmations and other relevant paperwork

The ideal candidate will have the following skills & experience:

  • Excellent customer service skills and experience
  • Sales support or office administration experience in a busy office environment.
  • Negotiation skills
  • Experience of answering telephone enquiries from clients and contractors.
  • Experience of using a client database
  • Experience in using Microsoft office applications (Excel, Word, Powerpoint).
  • Be numerate
  • Experience of multi-tasking and prioritising your own workload in a busy environment
  • GCSE level qualifications, including pass level grades for English Language and Mathematics
  • Experience within the following fields is preferred but not essential
  • Fundraising merchandise
  • Sales
  • Experienced in dealing with overseas suppliers
