Degree Educated Marketing/Business Development Junior Required for 3 Months

We have a fantastic opportunity for a university leaver looking to break in to marketing, as our client (leading US law firm based in the City) is willing to give someone three months paid experience as a Marketing & BD Junior to provide hands-on support to their global Marketing and Business Development team with all basic administration where you will gain exposure to how a highly functioning and achieving marketing and business development department operates.. This role will only be a for a few months (two to three) and paying £20,000 pro-rata.  Responsibilities will include assisting with the preparation of external newsletters and event invitations, assisting with the drafting of social media updates, ensuring the firm’s marketing materials are up-to-date with new content, managing stock of branded promotional items, editing and publishing news articles on the firm’s websites, assisting with delivering the firm’s new website, assisting with research required for business development initiatives, creating support packs for meetings, understanding and being a core user of the firm’s CRM system, providing RSVP updates to fee earners with regard to events, general administrative tasks such as creating new files, scanning and copying, and any other tasks as and when they arise.  Candidates should have a good working knowledge of the standard Microsoft package, be confident liaising with personnel across all levels of seniority and be able to handle a busy workload.  Applicants should also be degree educated, with a degree in Marketing a huge bonus.  Standard hours are 9.30am to 5.30pm with the role starting asap.
