People Advisor (Immediate start)


Creative Brand

A Central London Based Creative Brand is looking for a People Advisor to come on board ASAP! You will run people operations and recruit retain-able talent for the business.

The company is growing vastly in a strong, close knit, diverse start up company in the heart of London. You will report directly into the Head of People (great for progression, training and networking!). On the creative side you can get involved with various people projects too.

Your responsibilities...

People/Recruitment/ER/Payroll/Benefits (the usual)

  • You will provide guidance to team members and managers on all sorts of people matters. People policies and Systems: You will know the ins and outs of all our people systems: our HRIS, our ATS, our CapTable software and our benefits portal.
  • Recruitment: You will own the recruitment and selection process and you will partner with hiring teams to ensure we bring the best talent across tech and business roles
  • Payroll: Oversee UK & US payroll and benefits with our payroll provider and finance team: generating the initial report and completing cross checks.
  • ER: Ensure best practice is followed so we always act fairly and kindly in all employee relations activities
  • Assist with the weekly internal company meeting ("WIP") from topic brainstorming to presenter coordination and deck preparation.
  • Projects: Support the People team by identifying and delivering new initiatives that attract, grow and retain our talent.
  • Keep up to date with new developments in HR tech that could make processes more efficient.

What we'd like to see…

  • Someone who has HR Administration experience and some exposure at Advisor level
  • A confident recruiter, handling the process start to finish
  • Examples of dealing with straight forward ER cases
  • You're also familiar with coordinating annual reward and performance cycles.
  • You will have a confident, bright personality - we're a dynamic working environment and you'll need to be able to create and maintain great relationships across the business to get things done.

Key skills: Excellent knowledge of Excel and Google-suite and a quick learner with new systems and processes (we use Asana, Slack, PeopleHR etc)
