Executive Assistant – Film Producer New York
We are looking for a top calibre, detail-orientated Assistant who absolutely loves what they do!
Ideally you will already be US based or have the legal right to work in the US there may be periods when you will be travelling with the Principal outside of the US on location and longer hours when in production.
Current knowledge of New York, or previously experience working there, would be a definite advantage but not essential, as you will be a fast learner and extremely adaptable to new situations and locations.
Role outline
This unique role is to run the business and private life of a highly successful Producer who is primarily based in New York. This individual is at the top of their field and is highly creative and respected globally. They are truly passionate about what they do and would be looking for someone who can fully immerse themselves in this incredibly important supportive role. Being a very private person, they also need an Assistant who can fully appreciate the need for discretion at all times.
Attributes
Attention to detail is absolutely key, and will be the primary consideration for the position. You will be able to drill down into any request, providing your Principal with detailed options and reasonings.
Not only are you able to seamlessly manage and organise your Principal’s world, you are also great at reading people, personable, highly discreet and will therefore be an excellent ambassador for your employer as required.
You must have had experience working in a similar role, and as a result can maintain a calm confidence in any situation and think on your feet. Media, Production or similar Film experience would be a real bonus.
The role would include but not be limited to:
- Complex diary and travel management, with last-minute changes and long term planning for both business and personal travel.
- Arranging meetings with high profile individuals
- Property Management; including liaising with household staff and contractors
- Booking social engagements
- Event Management
- Liaising with Media, PR, Press
- International travel will be required with the Principal and you will be required to work or be available during Production hours when on location.

Salary: DOE from $100,000 plus + health
