Legal PA – Corporate Law
London
£32,000 - £38,000pa + Excellent Bens
Join a leading global law firm where your strong PA, organisation and technical skills will be highly valued working for a great team of Fee Earners (including Partners) within Corporate Law. The role itself is hybrid and will encompass a mixed bag of PA responsibilities from diary management, conference call and seminar arrangements, international travel and itineraries to extensive client interaction; building a strong network of relationships both internally and externally. The ideal candidate will have experience gained within the Legal arena (preferably with Corporate/Banking/Finance experience) who is looking for a fresh and exciting challenge.
As a Legal PA, you will be responsible for:
- Delivering a high quality and professional service to a Partner and small team of Fee Earners
- Complex diary management, scheduling ever-changing diaries, managing and resolving conflicts on a global basis, meetings, conference calls, lunches
- Full inbox management, handling client enquiries both internally and externally
- Arranging all business travel including flights, accommodation, Visas, currency, transfers and itineraries
- Preparing and producing bills, keeping accurate records of expenses/disbursements/fees for client billing, liaising with billing department to monitor payment of fees and responding to internal and external requests for back up documentation and further information
- Demonstrate strong organisational skills, regularly acting on own initiative, highlighting issues and suggesting possible solutions
Personal Competencies:
You will need to be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, good commercial awareness, business acumen and be one step ahead of the game in this diverse, stimulating and responsible role, taking ownership of decisions and delivering a high-quality service. You will also have:
- Previous PA experience of working in a fast-paced environment within Legal and Corporate/Finance Law
- Strong organisational skills, ability to prioritise conflicting workloads and be able to work as part of a team
- Advanced MS Office knowledge and minimum typing speeds of 60-65wpm
- GCSE’s Grade C or Above (or equivalent)
