Finance Officer - PART TIME

We are recruiting for part time Finance Officer on a temp to perm placement, in their Holborn office. This role is to start immediately and will be paying £14 per hour.

Who will you be working for?

Our client are surveying specialists who provide comprehensive intel to Developers, Architects, Planners and Adjoining Owners, providing information on initial project feasibility advice to formal assessments, planning reports and rights of light negotiations.

What will you be doing?

• Processing & posting Purchase invoices
• Raising & posting Sales invoices
• Resolve financial disputes
• Chase outstanding debts
• Issue Debtors List to CFO on weekly basis
• Post and reconcile bank accounts
• Processing & posting expenses
• Ensuring all transactions have supporting documentation
• Maintain Petty Cash and reconcile on a monthly basis
• Pay cheques into Bank within two days of receipt
• Maintaining and supporting associated company's accounting
• Reconciling prepayments / accruals / Fixed Asset balances
• Being a key point of contact for other departments on financial matters
• Assist production of Finance Reports
• Assist with answering the telephone, take messages and pass on in a timely manner
• Supporting the Chief Financial Officer, Directors and Office Manager with projects and tasks as and when required
• Assist with other Admin tasks in the absence of the Admin Assistant as and when required

About you:

• AAT / Qualified by experience
• Excellent Excel skills
• Knowledge of Xero an advantage but not essential
• Experience using excel, word, and outlook
