Junior Web Developer - 30K - 6 month FTC (could go perm!)

Are you a graduate in Computer Science? Are you passionate about tech and web development? Then, we have your dream role at LMA. This is a 6 month contract with every likelihood to go perm for the right person with strong problem solving skills, excellent communication skills and the drive to succeed.

LMA have partnered with a renowned, hugely successful consultancy firm based in the bustling heart of the City. You will sit in one of the most luxurious offices in London and will have full access to a state of the art gym and free food with your own on-site chef and beautiful restaurant just metres from your desk!

This is an entry level position and all you need is one year of experience working in web development and former knowledge of Opensource/Wordpress/CMS development/Java/HTML/CSS/JavaScript/PHP/Visual Basic/Word/Excel/Powerpoint.

The role

  • Overseeing all client facing digital spaces and transitioning/transferring websites to different hosting platforms.
  • To take full ownership of development tasks and projects.
  • Server maintenance across dedicated remote servers.
  • Update, Assign and install security licenses and certificates.
  • Maintain and update manuals/processes for each company site as to how to update each relevant section, enter new data.
  • Develop user guides as to how to transfer/update domain name and migrate a website
  • Create secured area in the Group website; adding/removing users, setting access expiry dates, extending expired users, filing access reports of active users
  • Develop new websites using both scripting languages and CMS
  • Updating websites content/pages
  • Manage the day to date relationship with registrars and hosting companies maintain domain status
  • Updating IT and Website Policy and Procedures manuals
  • Release/ handover campaigns internally
