Team Assistant to support our growth. The new hire will be responsible for managing all logistics for our #MarTechFest, an annual event which sees some of the industries greatest speakers take the stage. You will also be tasked with supporting consultancy account management services, marketing and office management between event logistics. 

As Events Assistant you will be involved in the full lifecycle of creating and managing events including:

  • Logistics
  • Marketing
  • Sourcing spaces
  • Sponsorship
  • Guest relations
  • Budget management

In your capacity as Office / Team Assistant you will assist with:

  • Book keeping
  • Invoice processing
  • Client contracts for events and consultancy
  • Manage company inbox and phone line
  • Updating PPT decks
  • Document and build out office operations into hand books/on-boarding docs.
  • Research and source new services or opportunities e.g. new accountancy company, law firm, government start bursaries, etc.
  • Executive support to the CEO
  • Liaising with external partners to follow up on action points or schedule follow up meetings
  • Social media support – LinkedIn inbox management/outreach and/or connecting with key contacts
  • Adhoc research new projects e.g. media training.

Marketing support will involve:

  • Social media scheduling
  • Update creatives in Canva
  • Website updates (e.g. change of speaker photo/bio)
  • Writing up project briefs and managing external partners (e.g. design briefs)
  • Consultancy client account management: scheduling calls, meetings, documenting actions, etc.

We are looking for an Events / Team Assistant with excellent communication skills and impeccable attention to detail.  You will be a self-starter with a strong work ethic who can think outside the square. 

This is an ideal role if you have previously worked as an Events Executive, Events Co-coordinator, Agency Account Executive,  Agency Account Co-coordinator, Executive Assistant, PA or Exhibition Logistics Assistant.

If you have a minimum 18 mths events management experience and are looking for a multi-faceted role within an exciting and growing company, we would love to hear from you.

Previous experience within media, publishing, events or technology businesses within the marketing or tech space would be advantageous.
