A well known finance company based in the City of London is looking for an Executive Assistant to provide full support to the CEO across all areas of the business, ensuring you take ownership of all tasks delegated until their conclusion.
Duties
Provide full administrative support to the president and CEO
Manage the inbox of the president and CEO, responding to emails on their behalf
Manage the diary of the president and CEO and schedule meetings and conference calls
Collate papers in advance of all meetings, ensuring the CEO is briefed and prepared ahead of all meetings
Prepare meeting agendas, perform research for meetings and where necessary, take minutes during meetings
Organise all travel arrangements, including flights, transportation (business and personal)
Update presentations in PowerPoint / Excel when required
All other tasks associated with senior level Executive Assistant support, including personal administrative support such as liaison with household staff, researching and booking of family holidays
Managing assigned projects following up with the project team where required
President's office support
Ensure adequate cover for the president and CEO at all times, providing a detailed handover to colleagues deputising in times of absence
Create policies and procedures for the office of the CEO, ensuring these are periodically reviewed and updated in line with office practice
Liaise with the offices of senior management, Board members, Executive Committee members, Management Committee and the Advisory Committee
Provide logistical support, including ground transportation bookings for visiting management and dignitaries
Education Skills & experience
A high level of education together with a nationally recognised secretarial qualification is desired
A minimum of 7 years' experience in a similar senior Executive Assistant role and a background within the financial services
Advanced Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills is desired
Typing speed of at least 60 wpm
