Work with this fabulous International Law firm as a Legal Team Assistant you will be supporting the Legal PA’s, Fee Earners and Clients, ensuring they receive an efficient and quality service. You will be an integral part of the team where you will be a key lynchpin and highly valued. The Legal Team Assistant will need to be able to prioritise busy workloads and work to strict deadlines as well as being able to display strong communication skills and an aptitude for learning new tasks. The role is very diverse and interesting and will suit candidates who are willing to learn and embrace challenges as it will also involve working with the Lawyers with their internal training and research.
As a Legal Team Assistant, typical duties will encompass:
- Assisting the Finance Lawyers and Fee Earners with secretarial and administrative duties
- Supporting the Legal PA’s within the Corporate team with overflow secretarial support
- Audio and copy typing of correspondence
- Diary management, setting up meetings and appointments
- Dealing with client enquiries in a prompt and professional manner
- Maintaining and updating the contacts CRM database
- Editing and amending documents into house style
- Collating and indexing legal documentation
- General administrative duties including filing, scanning and faxing
Personal Competencies:
You will need to be able to demonstrate strong communication skills and a willingness to learn and integrate effectively with the wider team, with previous administrative experience gained either in the legal or professional services arena and be able to work in a timely manner. You will also have:
- Minimum 5 GCSE’s Grade C or Above or equivalent
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- An understanding of working in a professional, service-driven environment
- A ‘can do’ and proactive attitude
- A strong team player and hungry to learn
